Recently my xbox 360 randomly refused to install final fantasy 13-2 for no apparent reason. Thankfully I have discovered an unusual fix to this most annoying of issues.
This issue is the process of installing the game never starts, it just hangs, the disk does not spin and the process stays at 0%. I can confirm its safe to just hit the off button and do the below fix. (nothing else you can do as the back button (pressing b) does not work.
To fix this issue simply log out of xbox live and install the game, job done, log back in and enjoy a great game of whatever :)

very well said im tired of my xbox hyper spinning on this damn game so im install it before it ruins my xbox. Thanks for the info love also that it was one of the first things i click on with a correct answer. I wonder why that is.....

Me Pottah, Hour past guide about best weapons in battlefield was terrífic, but after karkand expansion I'm not very sure about wich weapon will be the best now. Could you tell us whic ones you think are the best?

Why does this happen? This fix worked for me too. Guessing with the dates of the comments, this is a recent problem a number of people have gotten. Any ideas why?

I was pulling my hair out because this 360 wasn't installing games... logged out of Live just as you said, and *poof* no problems now.

I'm STILL having an issue. IT says that the game needs to be cleaned. I do and it tells me again. I can PLAY the game, but it won't make it past 0% for installing.
