Players trying to play the Diablo 3 beta are receiving this error when trying to play "Unable to connect to the service or the connection was interrupted. (Error 3003) "
This just means the service is not available yet fear not. The services will be turned on today 20th April at 3.00pm EDT which is 8.00 GMT.

If you are seeing Error 3003 click on Options and change your region to 'The Americas'. The open beta is on US servers only.

I am still unable to connect and its now 9:32. According to the blizzard forums they are looking into issues.
Issues include same error as named, different error involving being disconnected from battle.net and error 12 no licence.
I personally have only experienced the two connection issues and not managed to get any further.
This is for the EU client btw.
After doing above fix, I have now completed the beta in just under 2 hours.
Still lots more fun to be had with other classes ;p
