I recently updated my blackberry 8520 and needed to connect it to the new BTHome Hub 3, only to find the WEP key was not allowing me to connect.
I found this odd as I had never had issues connecting to my wifi before. Upon investigation I discovered you need to use security type PSK (Pre-Shared Key) and not WEP.
If this is not working it is likely your SSID was slightly miss spelt.
